TdT Controls

Lymphoblastoid control cells and negative control reagents for quality control testing

Human Lymphoblastoid Cell Suspension

Staining of Supertechs Cat# 9500 Control Cell Suspension using Supertechs Cat# 6600.

9500 TdT Control Cells

Supertechs Cat# 9500 is a fixed (paraformaldehyde) cell suspension containing human lymphoblastoid REH (TdT⁺) and RA-1 (TdT⁻) cells with stable TdT antigen. This cell suspension can be used as a control for TdT flow cytometric determinations. The control cell suspension contains a mixture of approximately 50% TdT⁺ and 50% TdT⁻ cells at a concentration of 2 x 10⁷ cells/mL (1.0 mL, ~20 tests) in a convenient dropper bottle. Our stabilized cell suspension has a shelf life of about 3 months after preparation when stored at 4°C.

Control cells can be used for setting the threshold and gating in flow cytometry studies and for training technicians in performing and evaluating TdT flow cytometry experiments.

Control Antibodies

003 Negative Control

Rabbit Polyclonal IgG

An immunoaffinity purified rabbit anti-β-Galactosidase (E. Coli) IgG with specificity for a bacterial protein that can be used as an irrelevant antibody control for rabbit anti-TdT reagents such as our Cat# 004. The product contains about 110 µg immunoaffinity purified rabbit polyclonal IgG per mL in PBS with 1% BSA and 0.1% sodium azide. It can be used at a 1:10 dilution on test slides.

This reagent is specifically intended for use as a negative control for TdT slide tests.

Flow cytometry results show minimal staining of TdT⁺ T-ALL tissue.

8100 FITC Negative Control IgG₁

Mouse monoclonal isotype controls with irrelevant specificities against bacterial or yeast protein that can be used as negative controls for mouse monoclonal human anti-TdT reagents such as Cat# 6100 and Cat# 6600. The product is directly conjugated to fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC).

The product is Protein A purified and prepared at a concentration of 50 µg per mL in PBS with 1% BSA and 0.1% sodium azide. It can be used at a 1:10 dilution with Supertechs Cat# 9500 control cell suspension.

This reagent is not intended for use with TdT test slides.

8200 FITC Negative Control IgG₂ₐ

Mouse monoclonal isotype controls with irrelevant specificities against bacterial or yeast protein that can be used as negative controls with Cat# 8100 for mouse monoclonal human anti-TdT reagents such as Cat# 6100.
